I have a passion for words, effective communications and intelligent website design and I'm currently seeking to become an active member of a highly productive and creative professional team in the Ottawa area where my skills as an experienced project manager, copywriter, and copy editor with eight years of experience would be utilized at the highest level.

Experience: More than eight years of writing and editing experience working both online and in print, coupled with a MA in Journalism and a track record of success in getting the job done right under intense time pressures.

Results: Produced the online media guide for the Canadian team competing at the 2007 Pan American Games on-time and on-budget. Work included writing over 475 athlete biographies and 37 sport descriptions; coordinating translation; compiling results and photographs; and ensuring the accuracy of all content when posted to the website.

Performance: Recognized for my writing and editing skills by being chosen as the editor of the Canadian team newsletter for three Olympic Games.
